The Pelvo-Abdominal division is specialized in Open and Endoscopic Surgery in Pelvic and Abdominal area. This division was started in 2005, and considered as one of the fast growing and evolving amongst other divisions in Gulf Medical, by delivering the latest technology and top notch products. This division is involved in Open Surgery, Laparoscopy, Ob-Gynecology Endoscopy, Urology Endoscopy, and Electro-Surgery Units.

Open General Surgery

The Open Surgery is one of the most recent specialties under Pelvo-Abdominal umbrella, which deals with all kinds of Open Surgery instruments as well as surgical sutures of all kinds and sizes.

Laparoscopy

The Laparoscopy specialty delivers the most up-to-date surgical instruments and Endoscopic imaging systems. The diversity of instruments covers all involved sub-specialties and applications in Laparoscopic Surgery for Adult, Pediatric, and Bariatric (Obesity) Surgery, from Trocars to Closure instruments.

Ob-Gynecology Endoscopy

The Ob-Gynecology covers Hysteroscopy Diagnostic as well as therapeutic instruments, varying from Rigid, Flexible Diagnostic and Operative Hysteroscopes to Monopolar and Bipolar Resectoscopes

Urology Endoscopy

Endourology is the branch of urology that deals with minimally invasive surgical procedures. It is performed using small scopes attached to surgical cameras and instruments inserted into the urinary tract. Traditionally, transurethral surgery has been the cornerstone of Endourology. Via the urethra, the complete urinary tract can be reached, enabling prostate surgery, surgery of tumors of the Urothelium, stone surgery, and simple urethral and ureteral procedures.

Electro-Surgery Units (ESU)
